Green Infrastructure

Green Infrastructure consists of areas within cities that return Nature to urban areas. Green infrastructure restores Nature by planting Rain Gardens, Bioswales, Trees, Ground Cover, pollinator gardens, urban agriculture, tree-lined medians, under-highway reforestation, green streets, and green roofs. Restoration of Nature provides porous land, restoring Nature’s regenerative reuse of decaying leaves and plants that renourish topsoil and replenish plants.
